International students can participate in a range of experiences here at our school and in the local community, such as:

Local community sports and activities – Basketball, Hockey, Soccer, Whale Watching, Bush Walking, Cycling, South Coast Choral and Arts Society, Netball, Tennis, Surf Life Saving (Summer), Badminton, Yoga, Beach Volleyball (Terms 1 & 4), Paddling, Triathlon (November), Cricket, Granite Community Band, Football, Table Tennis, Karate, South Coast Camera Club, Surf lessons, Dance classes, Bowling, Boxing Fitness Club and more.

Students are also able to attend tours provided by Department for Education approved operators during long weekends and school holidays. Students can choose from a range of tours including the Outback, Kangaroo Island, Sydney and more.

Currently the following is the only Department for Education approved tour company that offers custom tours for high school students:

Please note that the additional programs that you may like to participate in, will incur additional fees to be paid directly to the tour company and are not included in Regional Study Abroad Program fees.

Victor Harbor High School is located 80km south of Adelaide on the beautiful Fleurieu Peninsula. Victor Harbor High School’s curriculum maintains close links to the natural environment and is characterised by pathway planning and personalised learning for every student. Victor Harbor High School has a strong academic program and has strengths in aquatics and marine studies. The township of Victor Harbor is a popular holiday destination with great sand and surf beaches, stunning scenery and unique wildlife. In July and August, Southern Right Whales can be seen basking at Encounter Bay, only metres from the shoreline.
